chart reader, notepad, cockpit organizer, electronic briefcase and
library. Take notes directly on the charts or other documents.
The 24+ hour battery life and instant on performance can't be beat.
Bright sunlight makes the display even better to read. The 8"
electronic paper display is easy on the eyes. And it all weighs
well under a pound!
Now with FXVIEW 2.1, the
FX8 provides enhanced document management through the included FXVIEW
for Windows application. You can add PDF files right into the
FXVIEW environment, so it's not just about chart viewing. Load
your Ops Manual, Service Manual, Flight Plan, Checklists, Emergency
Procedures, corporate documents, and more onto the device for quick and
easy access. There's plenty of room! Link custom pages to an
airport so your information is there when you need it. We
even have a solution for private airports without published approaches.
When connected to a PC, charts and documents can be printed including
any notes that may have taken.
